Ph.D.
In order to achieve a Ph.D. it is necessary to partecipate to an open competition. Typically the examination takes place in september/october. Deadline for application is usually in june/july. The Ph.D. grants are provided from the following institutions (see the links for details):- Physics Ph.D. at the University Sapienza of Rome.
- Matherial Science Ph.D. at the University Sapienza of Rome.
- CNISM Ph.D. at the University Romatre of Rome.
Early Stage Researcher/Ph.D. position
An appointment as an Early Stage Researcher (ESR) is available within the framework of the European Project Marie Curie Initial Training Network PICQUE-Photonic Integrated Compound Quantum Encoding http://www.picque.eu/.Gross salary: 41,513.76 Euro/year (44,734.68 Euro/year for researchers with a family), which corresponds to a monthly net stipend of approx. Euro 3,000 (Euro 3,250 for researchers with a family).
Research fellows must not have resided or carried out their main activity (research work, education/studies, etc.) in Italy for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to their recruitment.
